Week Zero Orientation

Orientation lasted for the whole week. omg. in a blink of an eye, everything has ended. phew.

Day 1
One word: Chaotic!!!
Telematch was a major movement for the Logistics. oh my gosh. we had to like move 600 over bottles of newater, together with 150 chairs over to sports hall all the way from our school. wa. i was totally exhausted just pushing the few hundred bottles together with chenghar with that pathetic trolley, while the guys were practically dragging the chairs over, though they too had the help of the wheels. Loading and unloading was damn tiring already, let alone transporting them.
Lunch was another big hoo ha. Miscalculations!!!! my dearest log comm did not have any food catered to eat. soooo poor thing! and they had to go to one of the canteens and eat, while jeff, mic, ben, wallace, peck, deb, sister, zw, jx and i had to wait for deborah to packet lunch for us. brrrrrrrrrrrrr. din even have appetitie to eat man.
Preparation of telematch. Gross!!! but i left it all the jeff to handle. while deb and i were practically stoning outside the food pilot plant waiting for ice to drop out from the ice box. HAHA. it was funny man. and deborah ended up talking to herself when i passed her my walkie to go to toilet. cuz she forgot she had mine. so was looking all over for me thru the walkie. HAHA! how dumB!!!! =p I just love deborah khoo. always making me laugh. hahaha.
Telematch was cool. the kids had fun. just that the weather was bad. rained, and stop, rained, and stopped again. wa liew. bad sunny rain. and i was drenched by two big pails of water dunked by beloved simon and azuan!!! and since then, i got knocked on my back by the heavy pail and had been hurting since then. =( haha. and PACKING up of the tables was DISGUSTING. carried and carried. everyone was DAMN dying.
Shuhui was damn tired already. haha when everything ended for day 1. it was just, a chaotic day. hahaha.

Day 2
Things were muchhhhh better, be it the log comm, or the OLs. everyone was in the situation! =)
Campfire was GREAT. though it was alot of manpower needed to bring chairs here and there and transport them back after amazing race. this was the first time that we had campfire during week zero. and it was so pretty! so cool can. with like a few hundred ppl surrounding it and the BIG fireball just came down on the string. and aactually i was quite pissed off with bendy ho that day. but after i saw him going damn close to the fireball to fling the string to that the ball would continue to slide down, i was damn worried la. so dangerous can!!! argh. but i guess, i felt how much he wanted it to work. so.. yeah.. i couldnt be angry anymore. ha. so weird right!!!! yeah and it was buffet dinner, yet i din eat more than just a few mouths of it. felt damn nauseous. probably too tired by then. din feel like eating at all. that was like after transporting how many tables over man. and after that zhiwei and i had to transport tables back, and this kidna thing went on for an hour. travelling from AS to tembusu groove totally sucked.
Next, another highlight of the night. Gold Rush, amazing race for 400 freshies. it was a 4 and half hour programme. i seriously take my hat off for my log committee. they looked so cool briefing the students, conducting the game, keeping to time, crowd control. they're totally awesome. How much difference man, if i compare them to when they're station masters in OLTC. everything went damn smoothly. =) mic and i were having fun on our own, and went on to join shuhui and sinee to pack mealworms with red coarse rice. GROSS. we packed like over nearly 100 packets!!! gross. i nearly died. thank god.hahah that i din touch them at all. being able to get near them was already a bonus for me la!!!!
OHHH. and INTSC... oh man. they're having orientation that night too. and they had ppl dressed up in school uniforms... and painted their faces white. wa lAO. Sin ee and i bumped into them somehwere in the darker area leading to astroturf. i shouted... WAD THE FREAK!!! hahaha... i was damn scared la! for like half an hour. HAHAHA. i know im pathetic la. but hello, it's in the the middle of the night cannnn....
and yes! haha. the mealworm and coarse red rice pit stop was like the best of all. but i was terrified. looking at all the crawling worms all over the place. i was damn grossed up. then i went to distribute supper to my station masters after that. haha. EEeewwww.
Meanwhile, peck and deb were busy prepaing supper. thank god brian was there to help her. if not, i seriously do not think i would have any strength left to help her carry the tumblers up and down after transporting new water la... tables la.. pails la.. suppers la. gosh!!! i bet azuan, jeffrey, bendy were dying too. shuhui was just practically running around the whole night long too.
finally, after gold rush ended, everyone reported back to the staff lounge with their log stuff. another messy clearing up time. wa.. my poor ppl, all were either stoning or falling aslp after they came back. damn tiring la. next shuhui and i brought all of them over to TCC to meet up with the rest and have supper there. wow. i was impressed with the OLs. cuz they're still able to keep their freshies hyped up the whole night despite some where practically closing their eyes.
My log ppl all died la. many were slping by 5 plus. wallace, bendy, simon and even mic, all fell aslp too. and deborah and i went to fill hot water all the way at business. and sigh, distributing of cup noodles, was another infuriating thing la. tumblers, again. and a mad rush of bringing everybody, and evyrehting back to AS by 7am cuz of business sudden news about them coming over to tcc by 730. straight after they came back, the guys had to go and pack up campfire stuff can! i really pitied them. the girls all went up to the classrooms to slp and waited for breakfast. Oh well.. that night, felt like the longest night i've ever experienced.
deborah, sister, mic, wallace and siyuen sat around in a circle.. and talked.. and not long after tt i dozed off for like 20 min. and when i wake up, breakfast was ready. the food kinda sucked that morning. then.. freshies went home.. we still had to carry all the tables and chairs used once again up to the classrooms and arrange them back in order. wa. damn hard core la. and a short meeting with wallace they all after tt. not exactly short.. but shorter than usual... haha. then went home, i PONG and slept all the way until 5 plus from 1pm. met charm and rene after tt for dinenr! but im sorry, i was really damn tired. tried my best to keep myself awake actually.

Day 3
It was like the most exciting day ever. because, it's the day when i really felt that.. the stay in the club had been worthwhile.
LC play was a success. director ah ma was damn happy with us and everything went smoothly. my log ppl had a good rest in the morning until afternoon became a mad rush of welfare officers for our dear Ols and freshmen. Why? because, we're cheering our hearts out at the sport complex... cheering for our telematch participants, who gave us the victory! yes.... after 2 years, AS WON THE TELEMATCH. we got the champion.. Oh my gosh........ i seriously din know how to describe the feeling i had when the results were released... just felt that tears were filling my eyes!!! and i know, bendy ho certainly felt the same way. i nearly hugged him man. that was SO wrong. hahahaha. Mr tan was right, when we win, the cheering nv ends. so everyone's spirit was damn high... and thats WHY.. deborah khoo was damn busy filling water tumblers while we the log comm were busy filling water bottles and collecting back empty ones to refill. wow. major job. and after tt, Rahrah and i had to push them all the way to bedok reservoir.. together with my dear girls with another trolley!
Sadly, we din win the best spirited school. but a good thing to know was that we lost only by 10 freaking points. many would find it a waste to lose only by that 10 points. but i thought, thank god. because we're only like.. 10 points away! hurray. we won the cheering competition too. so 2 trophys were awarded. at that point of time, i know, AS is going to get stronger and stronger in years to come.
well. things nv end here. we had a hard time trying to clear up the staff lounge. even until now i still find it a mess. but eveyrthing will be moved out by monday afternoon. so oh well. just bear with it for awhile. =) everyhting was worth it.
