It had been the longest day ever.
Morning started at 530am, and right now it's 1216 reading off the labtop.
Many things were happening today.
1) 7am was week zero reporting time. Yes it's finally DAY 1 of orientation
2) 9am was Poly-Wide staff communication session with Principal
3) 1300-1400 was break for me to check out on the kids
4) and 2pm - 530pm was ASC staff comm session with Director ah Ma.
Basically, i did not have time today.
Communication session talk with principal was ultra boring.
im kinda amazed by the kinda questions some people would ask during such a session.
Define 'Multi-tasking'. One of the only few topics that made me laugh a little.
I slept for more than 1/2 hour in TCC. what a waste of time.
Watched a video on 'Make a difference'. Moved me.

Sometimes such encouraging stunts need to be done to motivate oneself.
because i do feel a little lost, sometimes, wondering about my purpose in asc.
and of course, if the approach had always been wrong.
Lunch served was good! only reward for that disgusting 3hr talk.
And staff comm with AH MA was ultra... CMI as well.
i fell aslp during some talk. it was on purchasing and Purchase forms to fill in.
TERRIBLE. UNBEARABLE. GROSS.
best part was obviously the teabreak. I yearned for it like hell while seated in the LT!
had funny eyes staring at me when ppl started asking where's wallace. HELLO.
im not his nanny! but apparently it seemed like only i knew where he went. that sucked.
DAY 1 of week Zero is finally over.
SIGH. sometimes, what can we do?
I really do not know already.
Whether ppl communicate, or ppl talk, or ppl become angsty.
how do we control it?. we cant.
just like I cant even get LTs and Rooms locked properly after my umpteen times of nagging.
it's not just disappointing, but tiring.
taking sides?
i'm afraid not. ALl i want now is week zero to go on fine.
if no one does it, i'll take over. as simple as that.
Define "Multi-tasking" once again.
We cannot afford to be handling such matters in the midst of week zero event.
i'm sorry, but you're not of priority.
it's painful seeing so many got injured today. SIgh.
felt that i've even failed to maintain good safety practice.
the bare minimum that was expected of me during this event.
but... once again... whatcan i do.
5 more days.
Let's endure and get through it.
whether it's negative feelings, overiding of authority, Lack-of-slp temper syndrome,
rudeness, indifference, or what have you.
we only have each other to rely on.
whats the point for comparison? Take it as a brand new project.
People these days love to compare.
compare results, People, culture, directors, schools, shirts, volume.... etc.
Is that going to help us feel better?
Unless it helps ppl to improve. if not, forget it and move on.
Life is all about choices.
we choose to be happy.
we choose to be sad.
we choose to live well.
we choose to live a sad life.
Some choose to lead, some chose to follow.
we choose.
it's a choice.
We also choose if we want to make a difference and impact others lives.
it's a choice.
having 3 orders tomor morning.
gotta travel and pack ice cream on my own w help of the 2 new students.
Uncle is still on holiday.
that can really be troublesome seriously.
because it's very hard to coordinate for my orders.. SIGH.
hopefully im still alive by thursday afternoon.
KEEP UP THE SPIRIT grace chan!
cant die. jiayou!
BRRrrr. for now, i choose to slp. =)
DAy 2, Day 3 and so on... will just get better.
Have the faith that it will, with much supervision. but it will.
goodnight.
