End of the race

lala. it's saturday.
yesterday marked the last day of week zero orientation.
basically, the bulk of the project is finally over.
phew, what a relief.
and this weekend is definitely one that i couldnt do wad i want to do.
because, i just do not have the energy.
to even watch shows at home, i needed to think thrice.

DAY 1 was accompanied with major hiccups happened at telematch area,
with my poor little freshmen girls scratching their palms and knees.
seriousy, i would say we were negligent to what could have happened.
i'm sorry. so much for having to maintain safety as a bare minimum for this event.

Day 2 was the longest dayyyy ever.
it felt like it was never going to end.
worked like mad, prepared TONNES of agar plates for tests
and my eyes were already strained.
but busy all the way till 6pm sharp and there i went changing into week zero attire.
all ready to go? perhaps not.
lerthagy was eating into me, big time.

AR finally started at 10pm instead of the original 915pm.
Final clash was where i was the whole entire night.
being in the middle of the field, shouting at black figures, and running in the dark.
why did we have to make freshmen tee this year black? god.
format on field, changed after every round.
the amount of brain cells used was enough to crown me being change readiness queen.
why did wallace ALWAYS have to do that?
well. guess thats what he's there for most of the time.

just went half of the night was almost over
and we thought things are well on track
complaints came flooding in and got everyone flustered.
IIT, Business, Design, Engine. well, ALL except for HSS lodged a complaint.
that we're too noisy, and did not seek permission or inform when we're using venues within their premises.
i mean.... night programme, was informed.
venues as well? i do not know.
clubs these days are getting rather paranoid and protective of their own districts
it's certainly hard to work together just like last time.
we certainly did not have such problem back in pirate times.
but oh well, why bother comparing.
nothing is the same anymore.
and perhaps, will never be the same since we're each unique on our own.

i was almost dead when final clash finally ended at 415am.
cleaning up was a big piece of shit to do.
SIGH. yes i totally agree: what a waste of environmental sources.
water, trashbags, newspapers.. what more?

fell dead aslp by 6sam and was almost late for delivery in the morning.
and bloody hell, the trip to and fro to this jurong sec sch
spent me close to $60 bucks.
im seriously getting sour about the fact that i've to fork out money ALL THE TIME 1st
sigh.

sigh. last day of week zero.
it was difficult to escape from work since i had to attend some stupid 6hrs workshop.
but it made me feeling even more sure that i made the right choice leaving ttsh.
because not only some people there sucked, management sucked, even their own appraisal system was terrible. so thank god once agian. =)

sugar rush after 3pm.
mark tan was desperate looking for extra ppl to row boat.
so i went. and i ended up being laughed at looking like a freshie and got asked to carry watches and hps and bags. HAHA.
retarded.
i'd probably volunteer next year. HAHA.
since... staff team never wins. just go down and have some fun with the paddle.

i thought since it's finallyt he last day,
there was absolutely no need for me to get pissed and start shouting.
in fact, i have not done that for a damn long time.
not even in oltc, not even in QSS camp.
and i had to. so did tan kb.
it's saddening how difficult it is sometimes to get instructions passed thru
and that people follow that.
making a Level coordinator to wait for 1 bloody hour just because of the celebration and giving out of prizes was ridiculour.
and freshmen were still lingering at the mobile canteen at 750pm?
absurd.
i would have died if i was sitting in that kinda crowd for 1 hr.

SIGH. anyway! it's all over.
all the thanking sessions done in the final debrief was
more like a formality than a sincere thingy from the heart.
sometimes, that is what we have to do.
but i do not deny the facts about the hard work and efforts put in by several individuals. after all, it's week zero orientation.

now it's time to look forward to the new AY.
new people, new team. New aspiration for myself.
im excited. and i hope the passion lasts.
time to put myself into more training.

IM YEARNING for changing appetite!
we should just drop by for mudpies at least SOON!
missing the old times when we could all laugh and eat and talk nonsense.
and hopefully such a r/s will be restored soon.

played paintball with pharmacycolleagues in the morning.
damn it. i hate to wait for people who loved to take their own sweet time.
hello, it's further than YIshun and im there, why shd u bloody be late?
organiser of the prog came the latest, and we waited for good 45 min
before we could step in there for a briefing.
i mean, it's ridiculous.
the scorching sun was burning every part of me.

paintball session was definitely an experience!
but hello, 100 balls was seriously too little.
we played a maximum of like 15 min with that amount.
and yet another 15 min just on briefing.
there it went, the $35.90.
had kind souls from TP who were working there as Facilitators,
they were friendly since i wore TP shirt
and one even gave me extra paintballs for free! haha.
how lucky. -p
i got shot at the back of my shoulder.
damn it. it was not done by anyone, but my own team member.
someone who couldnt aim properly when i was shielding myself at the front.
it was... superbly retarded!
painful. and it lingers.
thank god mine was just the back.
poor qingyuan had abraisons that bled on his hand and legs
and jeremy had bruises on his arms that looked scary.
HAHA. well.. mine din look too good either.
but i only found out after showering right now. OUCH.
QSS peeps, lets play that sometime! but please do not shoot me. =(

rights. back home. all the way from yishun.
how retareded. just travelling back got me damn tired
i cant wait for my redang trip!.
lala. gonna take a nap.
i do not want to see anyone for the rest of the night.
just to myself! would be great.
lala.

nights.
