Scary Night Out

It wasnt any horror kind of scary. but real scary. because my grandma just got admitted to hospital just 2 hours ago. it's 3am, just got home. real tired.

heard that she wasnt able to talk properly. all of a sudden, and felt weak all over. and was sent to sgh via ambulance, with an oxygen mask attached. when my mum and my bro rushed over to her house, i saw her getting up the ambulance, all wrapped up with the stretcher. omg. that was a scary scene, no joke. i nearly cried when i saw that.

when reached the hospital, my aunty said that my grandma's blood sugar level was really low? then i concluded, thats why she felt so weak all over. after that, the doctor said that it seemed that she took too much medicine, that caused her blood sugar level to be really low.

that struck me. because, i was just packing medicine for her last sunday. my aunty changed from the original medicine prescribed by sgh doctor to polyclinic medicine, which my grandma had been taking all along. though they're all the same kinda medicine... but the amount of active ingredient was totally differnet. Sgh's Metformin was 250mg, and 1 to be taken 3 times daily, while Polyclinic's metformin was 850mg/tab, and 2 to be taken 3 times daily. oh my gosh! wad a big difference of intake. and i actually din bother calculating before i happily packed her medicine into different smaller containers. im feeling damn bad right now. sigh.... call myself a pharm sci student. in the end, i nearly killed my own grandma because of my negligence. i cant imagine wad would happen if she just got into big danger like that.

my brother told me that i should be more firm, more confident in my expertise, instead of being intimidated and not wanting to speak up. sigh. i agree with wad he said.

it was damn scary. im feeling so guilty rightnow. dun even dare to tell my mum about it. only my bro knew about this. cant stop crying. cuz im so scared. ahhhhh.

tomor still got simulation. lame. i so wish i could skip it so that i could go visit her in hosp. sometimes being too involved doesnt mean anything anymore. spent too much time on club, and now im nothing when im someone's granddaughter. sigh.

time to slp. im praying for her recovery. so worried. hai.
