1st day of work

la la la.
my eyes can barely open now.
stuck in one of the offices beside the lab at basement.
oh man. im feeling the loneliness alr.
hope it gets better as time goes as even if there're ppl here, im not talking.

well. worst of all.
im alone in the office now.
which i suspect its gonna be like that forever.
another 2 desks beside me, but ppl come and go since they're not like ME.

had briefings and briefings since morning
brain is too jammed to be able to absorb much.
staff pass not done, im denied access to even my own office door
and had a hard time loggin into my PC.
wow. wad a day to start my work!

had lunch with tay boon keat and my so called buddy.
shes nice. i like her.
but it was totally weird having lunch with them.
i could barely swallow my FOOD.
he drove us to this north indian rest at sengpang bedok.
carbohydrates are bad for lunch, cuz they make u sleepy!.
i did stupid things AGAIN. that trait of me just couldnt hide itself!

1: dropped my phone on the floor without knowing. and caused a big hooha searching for it
2: i got locked in his car while they got out cuz i pulled the trigger before he released the lock.

HOW RETARDED!

well. haha. as usual.
and now im stuck in the office. doing NOTHING.
air con's causing my flu to be worst. and im fighting a tough battle with sleep.
brrr. 1 and a half more hours to go!!!

anyways...
had a talk with tay boon keat regarding things im gonne learn and all.
trust me, it's so much that i don't even know where to start with.
theres a big file stacked in front of me,
filled with quotations, receipts, claim forms, invoices, order forms, price lists....
everything that i avoided all i could back in asc or qss even. HAHA.
another grace will be coming back to teach me all of it tomor.
but i heard... she's forgetful and absent minded. so she'll conveniently miss out IMPT details.

my job scope thats to come:
1) sales and marketing
this includes all the forms i need to learn, dealing with cash, dealing with ppl going to schools with MARK TAN...

that also includes delivery of stocks, travelling, and receive orders. and BLAH.

2) Admin
thats not just sales admin. but all the purchase orders, stocks, electrical dealings for the lab, filings and etc

3) QC tests.
come on. im doing this solely because im called a bloody technical support officer.

4) production
i'll be learning all the steps in production. and eventually be involved! but not now la.

5) entrepreneurship projects
with students. and helping in major projects. tay boon keat's gonna be having entrepreneurship talks and workshops as well. im more than willing to help out in this part. =) cuz it's gonna be so like an event thingy. but yeah. when things start piling up, im not even sure if i'll be THAT willing. Haha.. but it's not under my responsibility. help out only

well. im a little overwhelmed. Just by listening to all these in overview. HAHA.
but trust me that im really excited for the job. cant wait to pick things up soon.
it's yet another learning process. =)
well... mark tan did come by and had some really discouraging talks with me. about this job and how pathetic it is cuz i wont get to learn much. but we shall see la huh. =)

rights. complaint enough. time to look like im doing work. someone's back!
