i'm back!

-wow- i havent been here for damn longhuh!

sorry. had been busy and tired. havent had time at work to type a proper blog as well. so here i am, updating on my life. HAHA. =)

well. at work, i'm officially stationed at the private pharmacy. swopped place with the pregnant lady. supposed to take over her for 9 mths exactly, but i seriously don't think i'll be staying here for that long. haha. everything is an unknown to me now. however, i do enjoy the company of the ppl there. one bad thing is that everyday is like damn busy... 8 hrs of work always felt like i've worked for DAMN long. as the patients just keep coming in, non-stop. hectic lifestyle.. and standing 8 hrs a day is damn tiring. im still in the midst of adjusting my body to the new envt.

in charge of housekeeping and stock expiry dates. i do feel a sense of belonging somehow. but... it's just damn tiring. i miss the people in op as well. haha.

anyhow. decided to leave in august this year. my goal is to complete an official one year. we shall see.

anyways! haha. well i'd been back from my bangkok trip for 2 weeks alr. thoguh it just felt like yesterday still. ahah. updates!

Day 1
Met damn early in the morning at airport. our flight was at 10am. i was having a terrible cough and flu.. and interrestingly i did not bring my cough syrup. so in the end, we headed for watsons when we got into the departure hall. stupid pharmacist made us wait for damn long... and the little bot of syrup cost me like almost 10 bucks?! haha. in the end, we're DAMN late for the plane... unfortunately our plane was at the LAST gate. ran like never before man.. and got scolded by the airport crew. wad the heck right! her scream was loud and squirky. i mean.. yeah we're late yes we're sorry. but so much for exellent service in the SIA line. ha. lame.

my first time on flight was exciting! =) 2 hours ride. hha. next we arrived at the airport. imagine.. we got cheated by the car driver for quoting a high price to bring us to the hotel. and we thought it was normal! haha. only realised it after we kept taking cabs to go diff places for the rest of the trip. haha.

the hotel was okie, not exactly posh.. but at least was clean and quiet place to live in. =) Ibis siam hotel. =)

first place we went to was MBK shopping centre! haha. it was DAMN big. things there are relatively cheap as well. haha. time was too early for check-in, so we simply dumped our luggage with hotel ppl and off we went! haha. oh man. Jeremy's favorite place there was like SWENSONS. haha it was dirt cheap la, the ice cream.

i spent the most money on the first day. just buy and buy. haha. terrible right? AHHAs..

dinner was at a thai restaurant. it's something like zhu chao in spore. haha but their tom yam soup was damn good! haha. =)

well. we went for MAMBO show after that! hahas. it's a ladyboy show that lasted for 1 hour plus. wow. some of them are like damn pretty can! but the rest only looked pretty from far... when they come near ah.. their faces were like buang. damn scary. haha but it was a damn good experience though. =p

reached home and we died shortly after that. damn tiring to be walking and travelling the whole day la!

Day 2
woke up very early in thr morning. went to chatuchap market. omg! it was like a super big basar malam. haha. super super big okies... and the sun was scorching hot. after walking and shopping for 2 hours, we're barely alive. qingyuan was like dying, while jeremy was busy spamming his money on 8 shirts at one shop. HAHA. all tee shirts for his friends. we all have weird shopping patterns! haha. i buy anything i see is cheap. qingyuan will find the cheapest and nicest thing. jeremy only buys if he sees something he likes, even if it's expensive he'll just spend the money. HAHA. weird combi huh.

after tt we went back to hotel to take shower and have a rest! well... the time then was only at 12 plus in the afternoon. and we're half dead! haha. how terrible.

lunch was at pizza hut! haha. dirt cheap once again. but standard wasnt as good as spore's one. haha and omg. there was a damn irritating stray cat that kept harrassing us when we're eating the pizza. so i guess spore dogs and cats are more tamed. HAHA. it looked really dirty. poor cat thou. kept wanting to jump onto our table okies! haha.

sadly. it rained shortly after our lunch. we missed the timing for floating market. and we couldnt go to zoo as planned. that afternoon became kinda tiring and draggy.. as we decided to go to platinum shopping centre in the rain and under horrendous traffic jam. AND yes! platinum is DAMN big, filled with shops for the ladies. haha imagine we could lose the way to the shop we previously went to. thats how big it was. it was like a freaking far east, but more of a pasar malam once again. i bought 2 tops from there though, without trying. was damn tired just by lokoing at the clothes. bought earrings too! haha. =) the 2 guys were super dead. haha i guess it was a wrong place to go. =p

then, we walked to central world shopping centre. OMG. it's the place for the rich. all the branded goods are there. visa, masters, everything's accepted. and of cuz... ppl and qingyuan and i saw them as skyhigh prices. haha but jeremy was very happy to look around and refused to leave!!! until we begged him and said we're damn tired. HAAH. so there we went to chinatown after that.

for dinner. we had a damn good dinner. shark fins, chicken with cashew nuts, crab meat with broccoli, and bird nests for dessert! haha. =) and it was damn cheap. haha. perhaps 60 plus sing dollar altogether? =)
One interesting joke: We're discussing why there're red bird nest. haha jeremy, with his convincing face, told us that it's because red bird nest is considered lower grade, as it's from the sick swallows who're dying... and they're puked blood onto their nest... thats why there're red bird nest...

OMg! qy and i nearly died laughing for the next 10 min or so. while jeremy was still wondering what was wrong with his story. it just sounded ridiculous la.... hahaha. well, his mum told him that and he believed it for years. how cute.

home sweet home after that. we slept early for once. =)

Day 3
Wa. it's getting tiring man! as i had been coughin thru the nights. haha well. i felt much better on the 3rd dday. seemed that the flu meds and cough syrup and vit c that i had been faithfully taking finally worked on me! haha.

we ate light breakfast and headed towards the zoo. it was damn hot again. wow. the travelling time to the zoo via cab took us at least 45 min. long ride, as spore isnt that big to travel 45 min usually. haha. but thank god that traffic was good that morning!

zoo tickets were expensive. a visit to the marine world and daytime safari cost us 30 plus dollars each (sing dollar pls). haha. but we had no choice since we're alr there. haha. well, that day was quite bad as all of us had little money left HAHA. esp me. haha. =p

but! i had a closest encounter with the girrafes ever. never thought they could be so adorable! well... spore always fenced them up and keep ppl distances away. bangkok zoo has a platform that allows tourists to pay and feed giraffes! a damn high platform with the giraffes' heads all sticking out with their enormous grey-coloured tongues!! how adorable! =) but i still didn't dare to touch any of them. haha.

safari world was a ride on the bus into the wild. there're flocks of birds.. orstrich, camels, zebras, giraffes, tigers, lions... blah. everything u needed in a safari that is. haha. it was damn fun though to see them right outside the window.

after everything. we took a cab back to mbk shopping centre. omg.. it was just our luck to board a superbly old cab.. the speed meter was even spoilt to show any indication.. there're mosquitoes in the car.. and no air con... and the car was DAMN slow. we're all damn pissed after 1 and half hours of car ride when we finally reached mbk. all had migraine after the terrible ride. and had to sit down and settle our lunch first! heat stroke alr man. haha.

i guess singaporeans are just too spoilt to be in such situations. haha! lunch was damn good and refreshing. =) paid by jeremy's mastercard. haha.

after tt we continued with our last shopping spree.. well i was done with all my shopping by then, so was jer. so qingyuan was the only one who had to strain his brain to get stuff for his friends again. haha. =) all were happy and good when we finally left mbk. =) =)

final clash was next up to come! =) dinner was back at the thai restaurant again since we had nowhere else to go. then we bought beers and bacardis back to the hotel room. not alot LA~~~~... like 4 cans (500ml) and 2 breezers. haha. cuz out of the 3 of us, only jeremy could drink. qy was pathetic! haha. yeah.. dai di, then drink then we slept. eh.. i think i made a fool of myself again. but wasnt too bad i guess! haha. ohyeah, we took time to pack our bags as well!

Day 4
YAY. time to go home. woke up, packed the remaining stuff and we had a short walk along the streets of siam. =) enough of shopping centres. =) had breakfast at a pub that served american breakfast. cozy and comfortable. =)

then.. travelled to bangkok airport. too early, hanged around and checked in. and walked for damn long all over the place to kill time. by then i think i was having a little of hangover.. started stoning badly. haha.

flight back was super rocky all the way due the turbulences and the bad weather. haha. was about to rain. and i managed to catch the night scenes from the window panel when we're reaching spore! it was a nice sight! =)

well.. something lame happened when we're passing thru the customs. stupid lady didnt want to let me pass as she felt that i looked diff from my pass port photo! and requested for other ID cards. all i had was my ezlink card.. which i thought didn't look like me either. until she asked me to smile. and she laughed saying eh finally u look like the photo! OMG. i wanted to kill her for holding me there for so long.. haha.

finally back to spore. my dearest jeffrey picked me up. and we went home. home sweet home. i slept for the whole day after that. and was still tired since then. =)

well. bangkok was a nice trip! with the 2 guys. haha. cab drivers there were very dishonest with their rates., many refused to switch on meters.. oh man. haha. so we only took those that willingly did so. traffic jams there made me appreciate the traffic system in spore. hahas.

sad that we missed the massage and spa.

i'll be going again. im sure. haha maybe sometime end this year. =)

wow. sadness. tomor i've to go back and do ot. 830 to 6pm. annual stocktake. life just sucks can. sigh. i'd been really tired. think rest is never enough.
